WELCOME TO THE MOOC ON HERITAGE EDUCATION

This MOOC offers introductory content on education in the field of cultural heritage, aimed at participants in the INTERHERITAGE project – sharing inclusive, intergenerational and cross-cutting heritage education practices with local communities in Europe (2025-3-ES02-KA153-YOU-000384338), an Erasmus+ mobility initiative in the youth sector (KA153 YOU).

The project, which will run for one year (January–December 2026), aims to develop, share and promote inclusive, intergenerational and cross-cutting heritage education practices that reinforce the role of heritage as a tool for non-formal learning, youth engagement and social transformation in local European communities.

This MOOC is coordinated and delivered by the Association of Young Professionals for Cultural Heritage (AJPC), an association made up of young Spanish professionals committed to the promotion, research and management of cultural heritage from a European perspective. Through training activities, collaborative projects and international networks, AJPC encourages the participation of the younger generation in the field of heritage and promotes the exchange of knowledge and best practice.

Overall, this course aims to provide a common knowledge base, as well as to inspire participants to apply what they have learnt in their own contexts, design educational activities and share experiences.
